February: Goals and Updates

I really only have big takeaways from this month:

1.) Positivity is the key to success. Being positive will keep you in the game long after others have given up. Positivity boosts creativity and decreases time wasted in wallowing in self-doubt. It opens you up to going after new opportunities and reaching out to others for help. It will even likely build to confidence in yourself and what you’re doing. Combined this will allow you to better grab the attention of your customers and sell them your product.

2.) The only way to make money is doing what others are unwilling or unable to do. For some, this means shady business practices or businesses that sell products we’re still embarrassed to talk about (I just saw a site on lube on Flippa that was doing very well). For others, this means sharing their wealth of knowledge after many years taken to build that knowledge base. There’s no short path. Working hard isn’t the answer. Despite what many would have you believe, there is no shortage of people willing to work hard. In fact, minimum wage workers work much harder than anyone else I know. You must combine expertise with persistence to succeed.

3.) It’s important to keep learning. The minutes you stop learning, you start stagnating. Growing your knowledge base is key to finding new opportunities.
