December 28 – Goals and Updates

Goals and Updates

Goals and Updates

Hey guys, this particular day was recorded to provide an example of an average day for a digital nomad. It ended up being a bit sub-average in efficiency as I woke a bit late and had a long lunch with a friend, but add a few tasks and it more or less constitutes my average day.

MITs:

1.) Write post  a standard sentence to be included in all articles with affiliate links explaining my affiliate marketing usage.

2.) Edit developer post and split into a second post on improving skills further.

3.) Go through Taylor West’s branding pdf. He’s re-launching his business to focus on brand consulting. He’s a great guy and very knowledgeable, so you all should check him out. I’ll add a link to his new website when it’s done, but for now you can find him at http://taylormetric.com.

4.) Read, write, and research about buying websites. I won’t be recording this part as I’ll be keeping my leads to myself. 😛

5.) Record a day in the life of a digital nomad video.

Bonus:
– Finish article on bad writing/communication habits
– Work on rough drafts of (copy)writing, psychology and entrepreneur tips/books, building a WordPress site, and affiliate advertising. This is going to be my recommended online career funnel. It’s a building series of time commitment and skill. Each new task reenforces knowledge of the previous task to make the next task more successful. I also plan to add alternate end goals (developing, freelancing, consulting, etc.) and supplemental skills (photography, videography, ui design, etc.).
– Write down any new information found on website purchasing post.
– Why you should have a blog post and how I use WordPress.

End of Day Update:
1.) Finished – I decided to make it a copy-paste sentence for the end of articles with affiliate marketing links.

2.) Edited a few articles and split the developer article differently than I originally expected. I will add the second article tomorrow.

3.) I started working on point 1 of 7.

4.) I finished what I set out to do.

5.) Unfortunately, the camera ran out of battery in the middle of the day and I didn’t have a chance to re-charge it as I was meeting some friends for dinner. I plan to finish the second half Wednesday.
